Family and MWR has scheduled five tryouts for the Fort Lee Ten Miler Team. There will be male, female and co-ed teams, so all are encouraged to tryout. Benefits of being on the Fort Lee Army 10-Miler Team will be covered during the tryouts. The Army 10-Miler tryouts are open to Military, Family Members, DoD Civilians and Contractors on Fort Lee. Family and MWR Sports invites you to join our weekly fitness classes. Weekly fitness classes include Aerobics, Boot Camp, Core/Cardio, CrossFit (in the Post Field House), High Intensity Training (HIIT), House of Pain, Pilates & Yoga, Spinning, Spinning/Strength, Yoga (Iyengar) and Zumba. Classes are generally $4 per class unless otherwise noted. A fitness card may be purchased for most classes. Fitness cards are $20 for a10-class punch card. House of Pain is a FREE class, however, you must be at least 18 years of age and complete a Microfit Fitness Assessment prior to attending class. Yoga (Iyengar) is FREE for Active Duty Soldiers and Spouses of deployed Soldiers. Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather or if minimum class participation levels are not achieved.
