Library Parking:

Monday through Friday during business hours, Library patrons may park in designated Library Patron Parking spaces in the student lot off Jessup or in the back of ALU (Evacuation Road). Library patrons may park in any ALU parking lot after 5 pm Monday through Friday and on weekends.

The Library is proud to participate every year in the DOD FMWR Libraries Summer Reading Program. This program, open to all ages (including babies!), encourages reading and the chance to earn some nifty incentive prizes. Details coming soon...

Preschool Story Hour

The Family and MWR Fort Lee Community Library hosts a Preschool Story Hour with crafts for children (Ages 0 - 5 years old) Wednesdays 10:30 - 11:30 am.  Pre-registration is required, as there is limited space available. Register in person or call the library. This is a free event.  Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian.  For more details, call (804) 765-8095.

Read 2 Rover!

The Family and MWR Fort Lee Community Library invites you to join us every third Monday of the month, 5 – 6 pm for our Read 2 Rover hour with Caring Canines of Richmond. Caring Canines is a volunteer therapy dog group that encourages children’s literacy while interacting with certified therapy dogs. This activity, while designed for children 0 to 12 years of age, is open to everyone.  All ages are encouraged to come and pet a dog!  This is a free program, there is no need to pre-register.  For more details, call (804) 765-8095.

Children, Tweens & Young Adults! 

New books are always available at the Library. The collections of fiction, non-fiction, and biography are updated monthly. While you’re searching for books, take a minute to check out some of the latest DVD releases—educational and feature films are available. Patrons 15 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
